Tarot for Personal Practice
Facilitated by Brady Waller
This class is designed to aid you in creating a personal practice with the tarot. Instead of focusing on information and theory, we will focus on using the tarot for personal development, exploring ways to use the deck in your spiritual and reflective practice. We’ll be talking about how to deepen your connection with your deck and the tarot as a whole, interpreting spreads as a story, and tools to help you understand the cards in a personal way. There will also be time for open questions about the tarot, specific cards, and places where you feel confused or struggle. Each attendee will be receiving a workbook full of journaling prompts, resources, tips for working with the cards, and spreads that I have found helpful in my own journey with the Tarot. If you are interested in beginning with the Tarot but don’t know how or where to start, or you have been working with the cards and want to take your practice to the next level, this class has what you need.
Please bring a Tarot deck with you. If you do not have one, you can purchase one at Seven Stones before class!
About Brady:
My name is Brady and I’ve been reading Tarot for about 3 years. I’ve spent time studying the history of tarot, the different lineages that have developed, and taken courses on many varying approaches to reading cards. Currently, I am the in-house tarot reader and astrologer at the Prana House in West Chester, Pa. I believe that Tarot is an energetic practice, channelling our energy through the cards to reveal to us the messages we need to receive. It also serves as a mirror, reflecting our subconscious thoughts and needs through the stories and imagery that are revealed in a reading. I use both Tarot and Astrology to help myself and others connect with passion and purpose through self-reflection.
