Nirvana…Enlightenment…Samadi
Ishvara Pranidhana Mantra
Gautama Buddha spoke of “enlightenment” in the common language of his day, Pali. He did so for several reasons. So it could be best understood by most of those listening who were not educated in the Sanskrit language, also so it could be perceived, not so much as an achievement, but as a ongoing journey in ones human development, and to teach others to teach in the same manner, so as to share the wisdom, as a matter of service. What however is the realization that enlightens us, what is it that happens that allows for the devotion to surrender? Where does the devotion go and for what? No matter what the practice or religion there is a way to know we are near to that realization. This will be the topic for our practice along with the mantra Ishvara Pranidhana :Ish- va-ra Pra-nid-hana, followed by our silent practice.
Space is limited to 5, so please preregister. All must wear a mask.
