Dear Friends and Community,
The image is a snow covered limb of a large Cedar that was downed on our block some many years ago. It rest in our front yard next to our Cedar. I asked those cutting down the tree if I could have one of the limbs that were lying all over the lawn. They said yes and carried one over to the space I had appointed for it. When they moved away I was able to see they gave me the heart of the tree. It still resides in good health next to our Cedar. I have had may photo shoots with it.
I will mention briefly that the events of the past week have seared my heart, I feel sure yours as well. The horrible violence that stole life from others due their brokenness. Horrific tragedy that I still find so difficult to fathom. Praying for all these souls we know of and all the ones taken violently everyday to be guided to safe spaces for healing. Praying for the healing of all those who loved them.
So about the Winter. I have always loved it! It is an invigorating time where the luminous darkness eventually reveals its light. My moms birthday was on Dec 21, and there was Winter, and Christmas and cold, snow , end of year, and settling in. And now I know there is Solstice that welcomes us into the dark night of winter with the promise of Spring.

Still not posted, but I can say that there will be a Reiki Share 1/4, HeART Creation,1/24 the Writing Coven 1/13 will be back, there will Intuitive Readers in Heart Space,1/10 the Alchemy Circle 1/11 will resume, and a Drum Circle. 1/16 ,Family Constellation Workshop Sat Feb 21.
Welcoming Winter…
And these may look like they are only seasons where the changes take place outside our windows. But each season offers us and opportunity to bring something forward from out of the darker days where our imagination brings new ideas to birth in us. We let go of what is no longer serving us, making a space for what has been waiting to be given life.
Let your imagination expand beyond the limits of what you know. And imagine big. Imagine with your whole heart what is waiting to be remembered. Imagine with others collectively the world we want to live in. Imagine us loving each other. Imagine us learning from each other the very thing we are here to know and share. Imagine that through our winter’s incubation what light we can offer to a true new Spring.
Every Solstice throughout time has waited for us to remember that we are the celebration seeded in the darkness and light of this time, the kernel of hope that humanity holds on to no matter what we see or is being done. Some things remain as constant reminders to our infinite imaginations and our resilience to one day be the light we bring forward form bodies whole and healed.
