Dear Friends and Community,
I know by the mail I get that I am expressing my thoughts to a varied and diverse group of people. There are likes and dislikes, and that is how it is. I am not trying to make anyone feel good or bad by what I offer here. I am discovering myself every day in ways I have never imagined doing, and I know we all are capable of the same self-discovery. It is the discovery we are here for, meant to have, able to have. We are supposed to be the sculptor and the marble. And I offer from that tender place of both discovery and pain.
And there comes a time for it. A time when we know that we are being called to that self discovery, when we are called to truth, and honesty. When we are called to find out who we are. It is a realization, stark as can be, that even though we are of age, we have mistaken growing older as growing up. And one day we know they are not the same and far from it.
I will continue down the page after the weeks schedule and announcements.
Announcements: We do now have a surgery date for Nick of April 4, next Friday. This email may have to due for both this week and next, I am not sure. I am hoping at some point to get some word out over the weekend next week to bring you up to date.

There Comes A Time…
And we are being called to see from some place other than our eyes. We are being called to feel deeply with our heart. We are being called to experience from our own knowing. We are being called to know that we are here to be human beings, and to understand what that means. And even though we are called in this way, far too many will ignore the call to grow up. And while it does happen in its own time, overtime there gets to be to an overgrowth of adults who have not grown up, and a moment in time when we see that if we don’t take the call to honor our human birth and our humanity we can be sure to lose it. I know it may appear that we are in a political crisis alone, but the underlying cause is that our humanity…our establishment as human beings has been hijacked and we are impoverished by our lack of human kindness towards our fellow beings.
We each are in that group of fellow beings. In the eyes of Existence there is no separation among us, which means what Existence allows to occur to those we feel separate from, it will have no discrimination when it is our turn. We need to stand up for each other when a government such as this one is so threatening, callous and cruel.
We have to be honest about what is happening to our country, to our laws, our institutions, government workers dedicated to our safety, to our fellow citizens and to those undocumented. The things that many people believed would never come to pass, happening in quick succession, causing great damage and with a bit of sadistic glee. As human beings we should care.
Because executive orders are happening so quickly, far too many of us do not realize the extent. Some people do not want to know. But I imagine if we all could know , and we all could be honest about what is really happening, more of us would care. And in that care, we would do something. But we have to care enough to be honest about where we are and where we are headed.

The hope of this administration is that we won’t look. Or if we do, we will feel overwhelmed, or frightened, and will do nothing. We can do different things according to who we are and what most concerns us, but we cannot do nothing. We have to give it some part of our attention and care. We have to give it our concern. People, like you and me, families, like yours and mine, people, are being hurt and damaged, and as people, we should care for each other, because in fact, we are each other.
This painting I called, Thinking of Lisa. A friend and mentor that I loved dearly, she assisted me in “growing up”, helping me to realize it is ongoing, and that our depth is reached when we care deeply for what matters most, enough to do something more about it. She was a spiritual healer and mentor that addressed the needs at hand with voice and actions to helps all those most vulnerable, the Earth and the environment, and of course all the animals. I thank her every day for being in my life. And I think of her and those like her on the other side supporting the work being done now, and of course doing what they can to assist us. As much as we might think otherwise, they are helping us more than we know.
