Dear Friends and Community,
I want to imagine that things are getting closer to our normal and that I can just get back to my previous schedule, but we are not quite there yet. So I will not mention again the things I will try to get back to…I will let it be a surprise to us all.
I hope this finds you well. I hope you are rising above the craziness of this time in our country and the world. Above the madness of dueling egos and the density of mortal flesh not knowing what it is here to do besides to satisfy itself and live in fear of others.Above, above and above to where we realize how much courage it takes to move to the above places in our thoughts, in our deeds, in our dreams and in our creative imaginations, to Love. It takes courage because it can be so disheartening to see where our country is moving under this administrations regime.
Osho says, “Love needs great courage. In fact, nothing needs more courage than love”. Those that are lovers of life, and of self, and of others, know that. To love is our crown and glory, the gift of Spirit. And while we are Love, we have to find within ourselves its depth, potential, and its co-creative intelligence that keeps us above, and looking ahead towards the future that we are meant to give birth to, sooner rather than later.

The Peak of Every Path…
…is Love. It is the top rung on the spiritual ladder, no matter the path, practice, or religion. It may be the realization that we never expected to find. It may be the reason we turn back. We start to find out who we are, the meaning of life, our purpose in being here. and stuffed into every seed of truth, is, well, we are love, and love is the meaning of life, and our purpose for being here is to love. Love is the answer to our prayer. Loving is our religiousness. Our religions should help us to go on improving our quality of Love. It is the litmus test of any path or religion…are we growing towards the depth of Love that cultivates, nurtures and strengthens our courage to Love, and fosters a will to stand for justice, equality, respect, kindness and acceptance, of and for everyone. It is the quantum leap of our existence.
We are Love. Our world may make us believe something far different. It actually can allows us to forget that we are far more than mortal flesh. Love is the ultimate experience… the realization of the God within. It is the expression of the divine within us. And joy is the expression of Love, and Love is the fragrance of the presence of the Divine Spirit.
Love is a deep wisdom. It is divine sight.It is our golden essence. It is our beauty and our grace. May we each continue to grow towards our depth of Love and all its possibilities.
I painted the image above a while back this year when I was feeling full of gratitude. That is me…older, shorter and rounder,,,full of thankfulness for life and love. This house by the river is my house…my life here full of light…me by the river of life giving back the essence of of love. I have a cauldron burning hot, the calcination of dross to gold and its smoke rising through the heart of the Earth to the the Eye in the sky. This was a moment just before Nick’s surgery, when there was a lot of uncertainty, a moment of thinking I might grow old without him.
