Dear Friends and Community,
I am not sure if I can bring enough to the topic that has shown up for this email. It feels a bit like giving from to the formless. But I feel it, and I know it, so I will try, The Light in the Dark Night. Both are there at the same time, and both are teachers. Both are needed. Both must find their way to a union. Not a compromise, but a merger.
I will finish up my thoughts down the page after the weeks schedule and announcements.

The Light in the Dark Night…
The dark night of the soul, with all of its torment of realization, should be celebrated in us not only as a progressive revolution in our evolutionary souls journey, but also for the bravery and courage it took to get there. The dark night is an indication that you have given of yourself in pursuit of yourself. As the sculptor and the marble you have reached to the soul of your creation. Only in this way can we break the seal of forgetfulness to be able to finish the creation. The dark night of the soul is a gift of consciousness given to those who will be able bear and carry the burden of the truth of reality that is not made up only of angels wings and butterflies.
This is a stage in our spiritual evolution that feels like we have been disconnected from an energy source that we counted on. It feels like abandonment.When all we thought we understood dissolves. When all the work we did feels like it didn’t matter. When what we have feels like still not enough, while what we love, we lose. Every dark night has these components, while we wonder what is there to have of great value that cannot be taken away?
The existential dark night is a passage and initiation towards that realization of the value of our human birth. We can do nothing but wait it out, to cross the sea and journey to the nearest shore. To land again. To keep moving with it and to meet the next shape of us it forms. To be what it makes of us until we are known.
It is not “the God” we are seeking to find, but the spirit of our own creation, which is our spark and our power. It is our god-part that is remembered, not found, so we can return to who we are in our most true nature. We can call it or wisdom, or our intuition, but the alchemists called it our “first matter”, which is given to us all, that is lost sight of over time, stifled, taken from us in a million ways just by growing up…it is our true imagination, the spark and joy of life, the knower and creator of new ideas, born from infinite thoughts streaming from an infinite source.
That light is always with us, even throughout the dark night. It is the divine feminine aspect of us, the soft landing when we surrender to her, to the promises she has made and can only keep. She is true to herself and to us that yearn for that soft landing. And who doesn’t want a soft landing?
