Dear Friends and Community,
I am happy to back. I enjoyed the break, the change of scenery, time with family, time with grandchildren, eating together, playing and laughing…it is good to get away.
I did paint, I do that for me. And there was no keeping up with the news, which is good as well. I read enough to keep me in my heart, and I took up Scrabble on my phone…which is a good brain exercise for me. I like words.
I wish to welcome all those new to the Heart Space Community. Thank you for wanting to be here.
Anyway, I am trusting that all is holding with you all. I feel strongly that it is ever so important to feel our connection to the ground beneath us, to allow the earths core energy hold us, and the energy above to sustain our love, trust, and strength. Anchored from within, buoyed from above. These are very significant times we are navigating and enduring. And I hear quite often people saying, “but for the grace of God”, … and I understand what I think they mean. I hear it as trust, as a sort of faithfulness and of course I feel I know, most people want to remain hopeful.
And I have to also feel that most here know what I am speaking to without me being specific. I honestly almost can’t anymore, as it is just so vile. I am here doing this to discuss us. You and me and how we not only learn how to endure through this time, but even more, to experience what we are learning about ourselves because of it…and the grace we are finding to make good use of.
Down the page, after some announcements and the weeks schedule, I will share a bit more.
Announcements:
Please take not that Monday’s meditation will be on Tuesday next week. There may be one more time I have to change to Tuesday, but for now I will just mention for next week.
There will be no yoga this month. Sandy will return in September.
And except for meditation and drum circle this month, I will not be offering any other classes, as I prepare for surgery. We have a new Monday meditation (https://www.heartspacemedia.com/events/meditation-for-beginners-5-classes-25-2026-08-10/) series starting next week, but on Tuesday, that I feel will be good for anyone just beginning a practice.

The Grace We Seek…
We often think that the grace we feel we are getting by on is coming from somewhere else, someplace other than ourselves and specifically from a higher source. It is natural to feel that, as we are well trained to think we are not enough to get ourselves though difficult and challenging times and events. We are savior seekers.
Grace,however,is tapping into our subtle territory, our emotions, our soul and spirit. It is a movement into our light parts, rather than our density. Our density is our earth body, and mind and worries and the endless cycle of thoughts. Grace is letting go,like letting a balloon do what a balloon does. Grace is being present with our vulnerabilities, with the true nature of who we are, and offering our light to it, rather than the heavy weight of fear and control our density has to offer.
It feels like a blessing from someplace else, but it is rather the gift of the light fragment that we are, that we always have been, being activated and put to use.It is a piece of source energy that belongs to us, it is us. It is nothing we need to ask for, we just need to remember it is there, and ours to use.
It shows up as compassion, love and forgiveness, and we know how good it feels when others extend it to us, and we to others. It is warm and kind, and all too often, we are the last to offer it to ourselves. And if there has ever been a time where grace feels so needed, it might be now.
And grace moves through our bodies network of cells, and blood vessels, nerves, bones and organs and it nurtures the parts so deprived of our grace, of our love, of our nature. It informs our life.There has never been more a time in my lifetime, when I had to navigate my own feelings about who I am at this time with regard to my country, and all of us who live here, and the government. Grace is allowing that to occur from our perspective of being human, not from politics, party, or power.
The light we carry within us is an emanation; a continuance or overflow from its source. It is a true sanctuary. Part of something that has always been and will forever be. What a capacity we have in us to turn this all around. Grace is who we are. And more and more of us are tapping into it. It is our nature to not accept what is against our nature, what is unnatural, hurtful, harmful, and unkind. By our grace will we prevail. It has always been up to us.
