Dear Friends and Community,
Welcome August…and what taking a break will look like here and what it may mean for me. My heart feels afflicted by the grief of our country and our inability to come to terms, agreements, compromises, and realizations around what truly matters to all of us as people. The choice to keep looking at things through political eyes mostly closed rather than through our hearts intelligence, when we are witnessing every day the harm being done is beyond my reach. There is no good reason in it, no soundness in it, no healing in it for anyone.
So for a little bit, at least for a month,but perhaps longer, I will just offer here the events in Heart Space and now and again perhaps a poem or thought from someone else, with no comment from me. No one really needs me to tell what most of us already know. I did come across an old Arab proverb today that punctuated my decision. It was a thought for the day… “The words of the tongue should have three gate keepers”. You probably know this. The gate keepers say…let our words be true, let them be kind, let them be necessary. But here is the rub, what is true, might not feel or seem kind to those who do not wish to recognize the necessity of truth now or at any time. We are at a crossroads and on a razors edge. Both. So my discernment leads me here, finally.
After about a year and a half of shamanic training I want to give more time to merging that study with the others I have done. I want to offer more time to creativity. I want to be here with you and be here for me. I will continue to be in Heart Space, and if you wish you can drop in to sit with us on Monday evenings, or join us for the other classes that are offered by myself and others. Time it is to open our hearts, shut the eyes completely, to see only what our inner eye can show us, to reveal what our hearts intelligence alone can let us know.
I would like to share more about the image I chose today. I feel this Being was a great help to me in making this decision. So down below I will offer more about her after the weeks schedule and upcoming events.

The Image…
My Being…She…He, both. Part of the training I did. My assignment finally completed from October. I believe. Our journey and work that day was to find our most healed ancestor. It was a long day of big work. My ancestor came through as one looking like this. One who had been all things. Hence, I guess the Eye. We were given some clay to make what had come through. I made it that day with the hope of going deeper to see beyond the clay. Then Nick got sick in December. I always knew I would get back to this Being. And It took this long to revisit the day, the journey, the significance, and how to bring this Being to life for me. What did It want me to know.
They are of all Beings and Elements. Have been of the Water, Earth,Air and Fire, all creatures, plants and trees, and then it was people from all over the Earth, all cultures, and all colors. This, the culmination of the most healed of all of them. Its base is of Lapis blue for truth, and the three guardian snakes of metals iron, silver and gold. Iron the strength that protects and anchors, Silver the Divine Feminine, the Moon and Waters, and Gold, the Divine Masculine. the Sun and Fire. I have a Moon on the back, with Stars. In this presence is only love. I can feel it. I know It will continue to teach, love and guide me. I am thankful for the training and my teacher for the experience.
