Dear Friends and Community,
I had to wait until today to try to offer this email. After the vote Thursday on the “big beautiful bill” went the way it did, just as I thought it would, I could not find what I felt was needed to offer in me. I felt a deep remorse for the collective betrayal that allowed this moment, this bill, this president, these leaders, to advance such moral bankruptcy on a nation of people who will realize over time just how bad we have have been disrespected,discarded, screwed.
I have not watched any news since Thursday. I did not want to hear the gloating. I did not want to hear anyone say how the president was handed a victory. It is not a victory to do damage to people. Nor is it “beautiful” to take from people what they hardly have, to make sure that those that do have much will have more.
And so I thought Friday, but it hurt my heart and quite frankly my brain,to think of so many celebrating what is slipping through our hands as a country. Our independence as a republic for one as we inch closer and closer to the end of our democracy. Our freedoms, our rights, justice and the rule of law to name some, there are so many more.
And so in turning my back against this most awful regime that continues to turn its back on everyone but the most wealthy, I realize I can only turn towards myself to make sure that in the deals being brokered, my spirit, my soul, are not up for grabs. How about you?
And so I go to the ancient and wise, my daily companions, teachers and friends to set be back right, solid and sure. They have sounded the warning for thousands of years to not lose ourselves in the prevalence of ignorance and in the abusive show and use of power. And yet here we are. We have always been pretty good about ignoring the warnings. And in the warning to not lose ourselves, the suggestion was to maybe know ourselves more. To not be so aloof about our freedom as a person, or the gift of life we have been given.

SOS…Saving Our Spirit…
We are for sure living in a serious time. Far too many people are being hurt. There is a tremendous amount of damage being done. We should as human beings give pause, not to the politics, but to our humanity. To what is being lost in spiritual revenue as a nation.
And we know we have given away what is intrinsically ours when we allow a president to rule as an unchecked tyrant.
I can so appreciate the sentiment for change in our government, but change should be evolution not devolution.Change should raise us up, and allow us to expand our thinking and raise our vibration. Change empowers everyone,not just some, and especially not just one. Change on the right track allows our spirit to soar. To know the sky, to be one with the sky. To know from that unrestricted view what is good and right for us as humans and what is cruel and wrong. To be fearless in our efforts to not perpetrate misery on our fellow citizens by those we choose to govern. We save our spirit by taking responsibility for the decisions we make.
We save our spirit when we do not turn a blind eye to any and all the damage, to the chaos and cruelty, to the never ending lies, and to the backward thinking and pretzel logic that any intelligent person can see through. We cannot be fearful of doing the next right thing.
We are saving our spirit when it begins to inform our humanity. When we meet the next evolutionary jump in our potential and capacity for love, forgiveness, and compassion. When we are co-creating solutions to our issues and concerns within the laws and statutes of our constitution, and the rule of law, not otherwise pretending they don’t exist, except when they suit, one group, one party, one way.
Everything is moving towards the next thing. All that exist is changing. Our Earth is evolving towards its next vibrational boost. We call it climate change, and global warming, but these are evolutionary symptoms, that without our own evolutionary jump to meet the changes, we will continue to be unprepared as we encounter the next catastrophe, one after the other. We are saving our spirit when we evolve together with an evolving planet.
We are saving our spirit when we want to thrive and not merely survive.And when we want the same for all beings there is a great beauty in that. A country, a nation, the world, will only, can only, be as great and beautiful as the people in it. It will be as wise as the warnings it heeded. It will be as spirited as the spirit we each saved in ourselves to be free and fearless for ourselves and one another, for our children and grandchildren, and for all their progeny for seven generations, to live in their spirit, without fear, and free.
And just so you are not confused as to what I mean when I use the word spirit. We are made up of the gross and the subtle. Gross is form and matter, our body is what is dense, and also what will die. Subtle is light, formless and infinite. Mind is subtle. More subtle than mind is our soul, and more subtle than our soul is our spirit, and more subtle than our spirit is the Divine. I just wanted you to realize what it is we are saving and what we can be far too aloof about losing.
May we bind together our spirit to meet our wholeness and light, to co-create together only what is possible if we do.
