Dear Friends and Community,
I am trying to get back to being on time with this mail. Welcome all those new to this community. For those that read this mail regularly, I thank you for how you have reached out so kindly to myself and Nick since December when his health challenges began, up to now, with his surgery behind him and the work of healing underway.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and your prayers. Thank you for your support, and for the variety of useful caring gifts you have dropped off at the house. We thank you so much,your kindness has been very healing to us both. I want to thank our Seven Stones family for giving us the space that is needed to give our full attention to the healing process. Without them, and all they have done, and do for the shop, the peace we have for healing would not be possible. So, I guess it feels right to say, thank you one and all for the love we feel you have given to us.We love you too!
With now a week home and 2 weeks since his surgery we are navigating the ups and downs of this process. Sometimes what we think are complications are just normal bumps in the road. We get scared and then reassured often. As the weeks go by I suppose that we will become adjusted to what feels like a roller coaster ride.
I read a sentence in a new book I began to read while Nick was in the hospital. I would read it for a little bit at night after I came home from from seeing Nick. This one sentence has stayed with me.Even though I was not able to get back to reading the book just until today, the sentence kept bubbling up because I felt it offered such a clear understanding of what we are dealing with in our country. Of course I will offer it down the page after the weeks schedule and other upcoming events.

Some Thoughts About Children…
Or maybe it is a single expanded thought. As I read the sentence from my new book…a novel on alchemy as the elixir of eternal life…The Red Lion by Maria Szepes…there opened up a new explanation of the impossibility of our current administration ever being able to offer any degree of mature and intelligent governance to our bewildered country and its citizens. And the sentence was simple; “Life cannot be conceived in a child’s womb”. And as I read it, I felt the power of its wisdom, and the very reason I feel we are not safe here because those in charge do not care about people the way adults learn to care for people.
‘Life”…(its depth and dignity, its significance,its meaning, its purpose, its living and and its dying, its joy and suffering, its grace, and of course, its very source…Source)…cannot be Conceived…(perceived, realized, understood, imagined, grasped, seen)…in a Child’s…(infant, toddler, little one, youngster, the immature,…and all a child can be when acting their age)…Womb…(in our deep inner spaces, our belly, our bowels, our heart).
The entire administration, from top to bottom is made of of children who think everything is up for playing with and that treat people, and laws, like toys. And they are spoiled children. They have little regard for peoples lives or their livelihood,or their families.The only difference between them and real children, is that they know the damage they do and rather enjoy who they hurt. Adults that do not grow up and mature with some sense of inner knowing and depth, and those given power over others will do great harm. They are small minded and are unable to grasp the value of life, and unable to respect everyone’s right to live free. These spoiled adult children, do not play fair.Only what they want matters and will throw many tantrums to get what they want.
They cannot hold the sanctity and sacredness of life for all people. And they choose who to hurt and harm. And on any given day it could be anyone. It is a choice to grow up, to be mature, and to learn about who we are and then to realize that we are responsible for who we are and the decisions we make. Not so sure that will happen here. Mature adult reasoning. logic, intelligence,is like trying to feed broccoli to a child. It is like poison to them, beyond what they are capable of making a choice to eat. It makes things look much more bleak, yet it helps me to appreciate all those bravely and courageously being adults, able to conceive of life in and from their depths.
