Dear Friends and Community,
To all of you that read this email I want to say thank you for being here with me, as I feel I am with you. Not everyone agrees with me, and that is fine. I know I am often misunderstood, and I understand. And while I feel brave, that does not at all mean that I am at times not afraid. These times we live in are scary. Which is all the more reason to have a good inner underpinning to hold us still as the events of these times swirl like a cluster of tornadoes around us.
And Saturday, yesterday, was such a day for me, as I feel so certain it was and is still for many of us. Jolting, might be a good way to say it. A day perhaps that many realized things have gone too far, if they had not already by the weeks events, or by the many disturbing aspects of an administration, from day one, that really acts, and more than likely is, more of a regime. Denial is foolish. Are we still willing to be foolish?
Key,and telling, is what happens to each of us when we do as we do to stay informed and watch or listen to the news. What is happening to each of us is of vital importance. Do we feel afraid? Do we feel disgusted? Threatened? Are we sickened? Are we getting depressed? Are we sad? Do we cry? Do we get angry? Are we checking out? A bit of each perhaps…if we care, if we feel our hearts are breaking. If we are seeing with the faculty of our deep heart, or listening with the faculty of our soul, we feel all of this, and even more, depending on how close to the bone one is affected.
It surely is not hyperbole anymore to insist we are in trouble as a country, as people, as citizens. What is the hope? What is the answer? What can we do? Or better to say, what can’t we do?
I will continue down the page after I post the weeks calendar and upcoming events.

Seeing With One’s Heart…
If we know who we are we know what to do. My plans for Saturday was to get the email done early, and watch some coverage of the thousands of No Kings protest across the country. I had no intention to watch any coverage of the 50 million dollar Military Parade that taxpayers will pay for, or the dishonor of false honor of the military. Using them in a show of power while stripping them of their benefits, and making a mockery of the democracy they serve to protect. We have to be honest about the underbelly of this regime.
But the political assassination of a Minnesota elected state representative and her husband and the wounding of another and his wife changed my day. I was shocked, felt numb and in some way wounded. My heart actually hurt. We should all pause to contemplate the implication of this moment and how and in what ways it has affected us. What did it make you feel?
Millions of protesters today more or less showed us what we cannot do. We cannot give up. We must find where hope is true in us. When what we hope for can be accomplished. When what we see with the eye of our heart is what we move towards. When what we hear with the faculty of our soul we listen to. When we stand in our power to love rather that anything else, no matter how hard that might be, because we are more present with collective caring and moving towards something new for all of us.
This love I speak of so often is LOVE…Letting Our Vision Evolve, love…LOVE. It is of the divine essence. It is a spiritual LOVE. It is the God in us all LOVE, It is the realization of the bigger than ourselves LOVE…the something more that we are with the potential to change whatever we set ourselves to change, including ourselves, especially ourselves. Love is our creative response to what is going on, and our co-creative effort to rise above it to allow a new day to dawn.
I got out my paints this week for the first time since before Nick’s surgery. I felt something in me wanting to be seen by me. It wanted color and presence. And for me it means that I must make every effort to see with the eye of my heart. Ans that part of us, that is in all of us, does not lie. It does not scheme or calculate. It does not judge or feel afraid to be who we are meant to be. It allows us to understand that there will be those here with us whose work it may be to act as a model for all we must resist being.
And resistance will look different for each of us. These are difficult times. Be aware of what you need first ahead of assisting bigger causes. Be kind to yourself. Be loving, and give yourself the care you need. Step into your divine heart of Love and make your mind and thoughts a servant to them. We are here to know who we are, and what we are here to do. We can know where we stand and what we stand for. We can know where we draw the line. We can know where there is no compromise. We can know what we live for and what we are willing to die for. We can be brave, and courageous and afraid all at the same time. Know that you are divine with the all the help and resources that go with it.
I honor the life and service of Melissa Hortman, and her husband Mark whose lives was taken. I pray for their children and family as they confront their loss and find their way to heal. As well I honor and pray for John Hoffman and his wife Yevette, who are now recovering from many gunshot wounds. I honor and thank the millions of protesters that showed up all over the country to peacefully say no thank you to a wanna be king. I honor our countries military that serve to protect our democracy. I honor you and all of us who keep trying to find our way through these time with Love and integrity.

Namaste,
Peace and healing,
