Dear Friends and Community,
I hope you are keeping warm. I have of late been finishing this mail in the daylight hours of Friday. I truly tried last night to start, but I could not bring my mind and heart together. There was too much of a ground swell of emotion for all that is going on, both in our country and in our world. I felt I would not be able to express the Light that my heart knows well with all that it was holding in the moment…California, and what comes next with the next president who has made made promises formed out of his dark matter, and conjured agreement with enough of the country to reach into to their own for our own version of Idiotocracy. What can go wrong?
So imagine a whole email full of that? The response from within was a resounding NO! And with the first words I read of my morning reading today there was a an utterance I could not at first understand…as it had nothing to do with what I read…it just came up! I felt a silliness to them, but I pursued it. As I know, it is always with my reading, I do not sit alone. And so here it was…Rutile Me This Batman! And just so you know, I have breakfast with many crystal allies and friends…and of course we talk and even discuss who will travel with through the day. Of late it has been a very large Ruby Record Keeper that has offered amazing insights that also I was asked to share. And that I will. But as I looked up from those words…Rutile me this…there in front of me was Rutilated Citrine saying hello…I am here to share with you today. I felt so thankful.
And I will do that down the page after I post the weeks schedule and updates and upcoming events.

Rutile Me This Batman…
I love Rutile. Delicate golden hair like strands of titanium dioxide, usually seen as inclusions in other crystals…mostly clear quartz yet it can appear in others too, as in natural Citrine. They are magnificent and mesmerizing, whether in a small or large crystal. And so I I held it and said hello and felt there was more I needed to hear from this friend.
And so it was there to help me gather my mind and heart together again with a brush of Golden Angel Hair, as it can be called. Or the hair of Venus…or the reminder that our work here is to love, and to find ways to manifest it, no matter what is going on, no matter who the president is, no matter the chaos storm, or fire. This crystal is one of remembrance of who we are and of what we are capable of both knowing, remembering, and doing. It allows us, if we allow it, to channel our highest self…our Light and Spirit to channel love, beauty and creativity for the benefit of both self and others. We all have dark matter we can fall into…the shadows that follow us, and we all have a litany of grievance we can share. Into what cauldron shall we stir that brew up and imagine we will be nourished and made well. We won’t! From that we continue to be sick together.
From where does our healing come? To thine own self be true …and be a light unto thyself begs the the Angel’s Hair…or for the love of Venus…Love.
A crystal to illuminate the divine in us. A mirror of the Rutile within us all…the fine golden hair like threads within the cauldron of our heart that season and refine us, that purify us, that offer grace and gratitude as healing salve for our pain, sorrow and grievance. It illuminates truth that swallows up our shadows, and it allows us to know that while our power to fix things may be limited, our love can be a healing force that is unlimited, should we so choose.
It will always be our choice to allow enlightenment…divine awareness to be awakened and remembered in us. Not anything that be given to us as we already have it, like those golden hair like threads of Rutile in a crystal. We are that. Hard to know or notice both in ourselves and certainly in one another.
The first thing I read today was …”the original sound healing were the kind and compassionate words that so often people shared and offered to each other…origin-ally. Our first impulse perhaps…our primal knowing…our love showing. Who we were more aware of being. How long ago do we have to go back to find the milk of loving kindness more prevalent,everywhere?
Now “sound healing” is a longing we have to hear. We think of it as something outside of us that we must receive, rather than the sound of our ourselves trying to be remembered. If we can remember not to forget we will each be well on our way to offer sound healing for self and others. I am speaking to myself as well as to all of us here.
We need to get a few things right in order to be of good service to ourselves, to our families and loved ones, to our communities and country and to the world. My friend, Ruby the Record Keeper assisted me this week in a compelling journey, that more than likely put the Rutiled Citrine on call. I was asked in this journey to share this very important truth. I was feeling adrift a bit, with concern for Nick’s health and I guess too, what awaits us all this year, as yet unknown. So I felt unclear about my starting place…disoriented I suppose. And the response to me was so clear I cried. And several times I was pressed to share what I heard…”your starting place is always from your heart”. All exist in us. No one is excluded. But it will always be our choice to choose our heart as a starting place. We might not be able to change where we are in time, but we can choose to change our responses to it, so as to be true to our Light and higher being while offering “sound healing” as we navigate
the ways we can help one another…in the ways that those looked to all the super hero’s to save the day from the dark forces that double down on doom against our fellow beings and against those trying to help…against the super hero’s. Well what if we were all to remember our power to love and that we are all super hero’s? Rutile me that…
Among and around us is not background scenery…we are not decoration among each other. All is alive and a the living web and circle of life that does require our participation…our tending and caring participation. And we must know what and how to not only participate in it, but we must know also how to feed, nourish and sustain it. A few verses by Oisin, from long ago Irish myth speaking on what sustained his kinsfolk and fellows before any religions arrived in Ireland:
“The truth of our hearts.
The strength of our arms.
And the constancy of our tongues”.
Is this not “sound healing”?
