Post Election Labyrinth Walk and Meditation

Heart Space at Seven Stones
Dear Community…
Some may think our prayers met deaf ears, or that all our efforts to bring about a more hopeful future were wasted. Or even that the money we offered to that future was ill-spent. Our prayers, efforts, or money were given to support our hopes and dreams, and a way of life we stand for, and stand in, no matter the outcomes.
Sometimes, as in all things, people must experience the worst, in order to see what must be done to change where we are, or to reconsider what is good to change.
My heart feels very sore. I am sure many feel the same and even maybe worse than that.
We are disappointed, yet we cannot get lost, for too long, in that feeling.
We feel grief over the loss of better possibilities for our country and deep sorrow for the love, care and concern for others, for women, for children, that was put aside for the lower cost of a loaf of bread, or for some to gain more of what they already have. We feel deeply the loss of a first woman president, again. We feel perhaps even the sorrow that Kamala feels as well. We feel things and that is not a bad thing.
However, we must move through it quickly so as not too lose our stride, or lose sight of the more important things…especially love. LOVE.
The message was clear. Our hearts and love for one another were clearly on the ballot.
The great sadness is that the majority of people chose not to listen to their heart, and actually voted against their own best interest. We will all have to ready for the fallout of those choices, whatever that may be.
Tonight we will have Heart Space open to be together if you feel that is something you may wish to do.
Labyrinth walk from 6 to 7, and a meditation to follow…allowing our tears to be shed together, our hearts to mingle, to support and hold each other in this moment, to feel what we feel, and to allow love to be validated as the better way.
It is the better way.
It is always the better way.
