Dear Friends and Community,
I imagine this email will be a collection of meandering muses that have settled with me this past week. We have entertained each other, and some have already been shared, but still they persist and insist on more engagement. And so I abide.
I have not shared this image in some time. It is the face of Wisdom on a drum that we purchased in Taos NM a number of years ago. Eagle breast feathers as prayers ascending to the ancestors, was the story she came with. Powerful on any day, so relevant for right now. Heart prayers from Wisdom to Wisdom. Is is not wisdom that asks for more of the same? It is. We need to be more aware of that.
I have had moments of reading prayers that were not asking for anything, but rather were thankful elicitation’s of what had already been done, already occurred. Like for the better world we dream of, for the peace we pursued, the clean waters vibrant with life and the earth cleansed, and beauty everywhere. I realized that half the work is knowing it is already here. Everything we want is already here, buried in what we already have.
Winters muse was clear that we are not to rush this season along. And as we await what they say will be a significant winter pause, we are asked to cherish the peace it brings. To find more stillness and collect its energy and instructions.Winter insist, “Don’t rush me away as there is more we need to get done together. It is an illumed darkness that we are traveling through, necessary to carry us into all the next things”.

Not Quite Yet…
It is just so easy to want the things we do not like to be over and done with. But it just may be that we have to be pressed in by them, before they are done with us. And not pressed to the point of giving up, or stepping back, but pressed to ponder and contemplate why we are here with them. And this is not a spectators nightmare, this is a participatory event where we get to create outcomes just by who we are.
We forget we are here by design and on purpose, which means we are on the clock again to pass through the thresholds we missed before. We are stuck in a loop thinking something needs to be found rather than remembered, and that something, someone, ourselves, need to change, rather than return.
The perspective is eye opening and addresses a host of particulars. Namely, we are not running the show. And that is the Wisdom that asks for more wisdom. And while not running the show we are consigned to create and co-create outcomes with the Wisdom muse.
As every time and civilization was moving towards what would succeed it, ours is doing the same. We clearly are in the throes of our next evolution. And without Wisdom the wheel can barely turn. We will keep putting irresponsible people in positions and places of power that demand the utmost responsibility. Out of greed we will continue to allow our technology to advance ahead of our consciousness becoming a thorn rather than a rose. Without Wisdom we forsake our intelligence, and squander our human worth.
Without Wisdom we are lost again.
Wisdom is the muse of the intelligent heart and not the educated mind. It is gut response and creative intuition. It is heart beat caring for heart beats, and not a calculated risk. Wisdom is the goddess of truth and justice. She is the archetype embodied in our visions and dreams for the world we know is possible, for the world we know that is. She is the guidance to our will. The divine feminine to our divine masculine. Without the divinity we are lost to the separation of one or the other.
Wisdom is she that is divine. With her we will realize there is no where go, no journey to take us where we always have been. With her we need not find a thing but we will remember the more of who we are. And with her, what we think we need to change, will be returned to us. We are already all we can every hope to be and then some. We just need to catch up to ourselves.
I forgot to mention last week that Heart Space celebrated 10 years on February 14. It is a space for human development is what I have come to realize. Attending to the subtle unknown to inform the mortal known. To be remembered and returned so we can make good use of ourselves while we are here. I am so thankful for all those that have shared their grace and presence there.
Be safe everyone with the weather and the big snow. I am still in disbelief of the forecast. Our Christmas Snowman decoration has waited for some years for a year like this. I couldn’t bear to take him in, he looks so happy.
