Dear Friends and Community,
I am not so sure of what is going to flow here. I do know that this phrase, ‘no better time’ has been a mantra through my last two days. I do know that many of us are truly feeling the weight of what is happening in our country. No better time, to say a few things about that, I suppose. The chaos has begun. The wrecking ball of arrogance, cruelty, and stupidity is in full swing. And there is no better time to realize that there is no one that is really safe, except perhaps for billionaires. But there is no sure loyalty among the elite. No place to rest. Chaos abounds and it can strike anywhere at anyone. No better time to admit a grave mistake has been made, and as a country we are coming undone.
I can admit I am deeply saddened that this is where we have landed. And yet I knew, as a country, we were not smart enough, nor did we care enough to make a better choice for ourselves, for our children and grandchildren, for the Earth, for humanity. But this is what I realize as a truth.The erosion of true intelligence is far too extensive for far too many to have known this would be a disaster. And it has only just begun.
Most here I am sure made a different choice. We knew. Not because we are smarter,or more intelligent. We knew because we were able to perceive the harm in the lies being told and we cared about the damage that would be done. But there is no better time to realize, know and brace ourselves for all that will come undone. And there is no better time to be starkly honest and admit being wrong about a lot of things. Being unconscious and aloof about the very things that should have been learned from history, both long ago, up to the most recent past. Why don’t we learn?

I am needing to move the Soul HeART class up a week to the 19th.

No Better Time…
History is a gift and a tool to inform our life and present day. It has within it the possibility to enrich our lives, inform us of what didn’t work, what brought harm and destruction, and conversely what did, and what brought harmony and peace. So many accounts of the pitfalls of power and greed, what it takes with it, and what little is left. I guess we never quite get that history is about us, and it is about life itself. It is not about something we can ignore, or be aloof about if we wish to not give it some attention. We don’t realize, or understand that it is something to be understood, if we are to understand anything at all about anything else. And we have missed that understanding over and over again. Do we really think so little of ourselves, of our life, of life itself? No better time to contemplate that.
Some things to consider and perhaps to correct. We were not taught, most of anyway, to pursue the meaning of life, and so we struggle trying to live it. And yet the longing to know chases us through our days and nights, through our dreams and wishes and prayers. We do not realize that this knowing is the glue that gives value to everything else we have taken the time to learn. When we miss the histories, and the stories that inform our knowing to understand life, everything else is misunderstood. We do not learn to discriminate right from wrong, and what is true from what is a lie.
We will have to find ways to stand up to what is happening. We will have to be brave and courageous. We will have to know what we want and what we stand for. Now is the time to seize the opportunities we have to know more so we can know better. I am not sure we can pull our country intact out of the bloodthirsty jaws of this administration.
But now is the time to find out what we each can do to salvage what’s most important, and protect our freedoms.
Now Is The Time…
to know that everything you do is sacred.
Now, why not consider a lasting truce with yourself and God?
Now is the time to understand that all your ideas of right and wrong were just
a child’s training wheels, to be laid aside when you could finally live with
veracity and courage.

My dear, please tell me, why do you still
throw sticks at your heart and Him/Her?
What is in that sweet voice inside that incites you to fear?
Now is the time for the world to know that every thought and action is sacred.
This is the time for you to deeply compute the impossibility that there is anything but Grace.
Now is the season to know that everything we do…is sacred.
