Dear Friends and Community,
Writing in purple for faith, and hope, trust and prayer. Sending it all up to the upper levels, away from the noise of things I cannot imagine. Things I won’t think of or entertain. 11 days now until the election. How are you feeling? What are you thinking?
What are you doing?
I have given all the money I can to support the freedom and democracy ticket, but I know I still have a million prayers that I can say. My “do something” right now is prayer. I eventually landed here in 2020 as well. When the forces of opposition turn dark, ugly and mean, and feel a bit below human,even evil, as they do now, prayer becomes the only thing that feels good to offer to this moment. It feels right to turn upward, rather than worry or be afraid.

“Keep The Faith”…
Evil has a shelf life, and love is infinite. Evil can be conquered by light. The light of divine love has mastery over the forces of power that speak about the vile things it is planning to do. There is no guessing to be done when everything is said plainly for all to hear. There is no mystery in the words that are said. One does not have to dig a little deeper, or look much further. The vile things, you may notice, are not “concepts of a plan”, they are plans waiting to be rolled out. All the indicators anyone can possibly need are there,ready to be heard and realized, and felt and understood. And the revelation should take everyone’s breath away, in the worst sort of way. And yet it does not.
To align to this, to dismiss the cruelty in the vile talk of hurting people, to support the loss of bodily autonomy and other freedoms and rights, and to give a nod, a wink, and a vote to the loss of our democracy is to have forgotten what a human life is for. To cuddle up to this sort of smallness, I feel
cannot lend itself to feeling well, or happy. It seems so degrading to choose the smallest portion of ones possibility. And yet, it seems like half the country is on board.
What can more money thrown at this do, I wonder. And so I pray. I pray for goodness to triumph over harm. I pray for light to triumph over this dark time. I pray that it is not too late for some to realize that this is so very serious to give our freedoms away. No one wins with a narcissist wanna a be dictator, but the narcissist. Not smart to think it will be different. I personally feel that he is loaded up with hungry ghosts. They are so attracted to narcissist, and like parasites,they feed off greed for power. It is a possibility that would answer many questions, and makes sense to me.
All the more reason to pray. I like my freedoms and I want all people to have them. I love kindness, and I feel that is the least of what we can offer to each other. I like free speech, and I like truth and honesty. I love diversity,and seeing what can be accomplished in a co-creative environment. And this is what I pray for.
I pray that our country does not have to shrink to meet the smallness of small minded ban oriented, and power hungry dictators.
These are compassionate prayers for all of us who want to live peacefully among each other. And I feel everyone that wants the same should not forget, that among anything else we might be doing to get Kamala in the White House, that we not forget to pray. I somehow feel we are not forgetting.
Pray your prayers to your people. The heavens are eager to assist, but we do have to ask. Call on all the benevolent spirits to light the way and swallow up this dark stuff that makes our hearts hurt.
I was at the grocery store yesterday and saw a friend. We exchanged hello’s, and how are you’s, and that was it. And then I guess sensing from each other the weight of this moment we are in, about 8 feet away, at this point, he turned to me and said, “these are crazy times right”? I nodded, and while he kept walking he said, “keep the faith”, just as I was going to say, “pray”.
And it feels like we are holding something up that is so important to hold up. We are making the space, while we wait, to turn upward, to say please and thank you, and to articulate some plea for protection, and ask that the fragment of light that we each are be used to triumph over the darkness of disunity and grievance that has blanketed us for too long. We are tired and weary from this cruel game. I pray our better angels prevail.
At some point things need to be said. I mean no disrespect to anyone, not even to DT. There is a time for what is true to be said because there is a danger in not saying anything. When the safety of people are at risk, one cannot stay silent. I would say it to him if I could.
