Dear Friends and Community,
I know you can see there is a new picture where the Heart Space logo usually is. This is the walkway into Heart Space and them’s are my toes. There were some very significant years prior to Heart Space when I realized I was on a new path, but I can say that once in Heart Space, the path appeared and deepened. I feel so thankful.

This week we celebrated 20 years in Media with Seven Stones. That is kind of amazing to me. I feel for sure that the path that found me has allowed me to stay the course of being a retail shop owner for this long with a strength I don’t feel would have been possible without. We are so thankful for both spaces and the connections with kindred spirits we enjoy.

I am going to continue with a bit more from last week as I realized that I could have been a bit more clear. I realize, I do, that I should elaborate a bit more for the sake of clarity. I am, though, so aware for the words not to be too long. And after all this time I realized I can just continue. And so I will, after I offer the weeks calendar, upcoming events, and an announcement.

I offer this announcement with an apology. You should know that you will have to be more aware of the parking situation in Media. It seems the borough has decided to impose a higher cost, and when using the meters you can only use quarters, and they will only get you 10 minutes. Also they will ticket you up to 8PM…it seems all week long. Tickets are $35. There are credit card kiosks as well. Also there is an app I hear you can download, where the punishment for visiting Media continues with a charge for that as well. There really is no nice way to say any of this and I cannot make believe it does not feel shameful and unkind. I will be happy to report that I am incorrect about any aspect of this news.

It might seem sometimes that I consider awakening to a higher consciousness easy to do. I can tell you that I know that it is not. I do in fact know how difficult it can be, and how long it might take. It can take lifetimes. And because of that reason, it requires our patience. It requires our love, along with our willingness to try. And even perhaps I do not stress enough the value of stretching our awareness to realize the more of who we each are. The value is to see beyond the limitations and sufferings of our temporary lives so as to perceive our infinite nature, our inner universe,and allow it to inform our life and allow us to proceed with more awareness in living it.

Most of us grow up, and never become aware of how limited our awareness is to who it is we are. Because of that, our life, up to the time we pass is riddled with suffering with no good explanation as to why, except for ” that is life”. And many just soldier on with that. Some with grace, many more with confusion,
bitterness and anger. We come to think that there are no answers, that it is all a mystery, and just a matter of faith to not ask why.

We are meant to grow in knowledge of matters of our divine nature, of the nature of Existence. We are meant to realize that we too carry the seed of infinity within us. In that seed is the ultimate awareness of our union with the energy of divine light and grace. In that seed is the potential to see all beings as such, as well. When that seed is not nurtured we become shackled to the pull of gravity. We become weighted with all the goings on of life. We realize that no joy is permanent and also seeded with sorrow.

This here is not our forever home, and yet we keep trying to find out where that feeling of home might be. It is so close. It never leaves us, yet we can miss it, lifetime after lifetime. But once known, we are then hOMe. And the inner awareness begins to inform the outer life. The seed sprouts, the tree begins to grow, it leaves, it flowers, it fruits. It nourishes our life with beauty and light. And not just ours. In time we realize our abundance of spirit and love. We see with one eye how darn expansive we are and in the light of grace we share our light and let it mingle with light of others. This feeding on light allows us to experience the bliss of our infinite nature. To feel what cannot be seen, or even proven to exist.

Not all want to know. Not all care about the freedom of knowing something more. That is a choice we each make. Light and grace or the forceful pull of gravity. Restoration to health and well-being begins with being aware of ourselves. Our very suffering is what should catapult us towards that awareness. There is so much light to be had. Darkness really doesn’t exist. It is only in the absence of light that we know of it at all.

So all this to say, no, it is not easy, nor done quickly. It takes time, and love, and care and patience. The journey is not meant to be taken so seriously that we lose our joy in trying. Gratitude is joyful appreciation for what is given to us. And that we can know, even in just knowing the very fringes of divine knowledge, enough to free our soul, is cause for great celebration in gratitude. And so we try.
