Soul Image Meditation

This session and time for self discovery will begin with a brief explanation and a with a series of questions for reflection and inspiration as we go into selecting our cards and to guide you into your meditation.
Having been working with a few new decks of images, I have found a profound appreciation in Soul Cards, by Deborah Koff-Chapin. They are a deck of soulful images of her creation and that is it. There is no interpretation or explanation for the image. That is for each of us to find. They are striking and powerful images that speak to from the deepest places, and often the place most ignored.
The meditation process will be for each of us to carry into our meditation the image of one to three cards. We will do a brief sitting to settle ourselves and to inquire of ourselves what we are looking to find within. Perhaps we are looking to find an answer to a personal issue, or we have a concern, or we feel stuck…and so on. After choosing the cards we will have a brief discussion before we enter our meditation. After our meditation there will be more opportunity for expression.
I have found the images to be a powerful and challenging process. I would like to share this process because I feel it has opened yet another door, a new portal to understanding and an avenue into creation. The more we allow ourselves to see in ourselves, the less fear we will hold. The less fear and we see opportunity everywhere. The goal is to feel good with all of who we are. To be gentle and kind to ourselves and our process. And for sure it is always to seek and find our light…our love…our service.
