Heart Space Drum Circle

This is a space to co-create musically. A space to allow the rhythm of the drum to transform our energy. We will contribute our parts: Our joy, or sadness, our anxiety, our wonder…all our stuff… and we will weave in and out this energetic flow allowing the Great Spirit to carry it all away leaving us with the reminder that we are created in the image of the great beyond. We will also be making some great music!
I am a drummer and artist. I was inspired to play music as a young child in the Caribbean. I grew up in St. Lucia and the sounds of the drums at carnival hooked my soul. I have been tapping on something ever since. I play percussion at Blue Route Vineyard Church. I have facilitated other drum circles. I also played with multiple artists in Philadelphia. I have studied percussion under one of Babatunde Olatunji’s students. I am a spiritual healer. I have spent many years studying meditation and energy. I believe in the power of music to connect us to the Divine and heal us.
