Dear Friends and Community,
I am wishing everyone well as I open this email. I felt I should give it a go with an email, mostly to let you know that I am recovering well from my surgery, but also to stretch myself a bit towards getting back. It will take a few more weeks before I have any clearance to return to my usual routine and schedule, yet I wanted to get back here as soon as I felt I could sit for a length of time to give a report.
Surgery is a scary thing, at least it was for me, and I am happy to report that it all went well and as of this date, with no complications. Same for the shop, as it too re-opened with a soft opening on Saturday after its renovations and facelift. Our Seven Stones family did an amazing job in accomplishing what has been done so far. Far too many long days and nights to rebirth a space that is dedicated to assist every fellow traveler on their journey. It will be fascinating to see how she, the shop, continues to evolve.
I wish to thank everyone who held space for me,and Nick, and for our crew, their partners, our oldest grandchildren, and for the workers, and the spirit Seven Stones. Pressing back into the routines of work, while so important to do, is challenging. So I thank you for your patience while we all catch up to all to the events that have taken place to make things better.
I want to say how brave and trusting we all were to have my surgery and the shop being taken apart on the same day, and as I entered post-op and recovery, the shop was given a new face. I painted this image just before surgery, when I feel we all were thinking how crazy it seemed, what we were about to do. I called it Playing With The Universe. I know we are all gods, divine and divinely capable when we put our hearts to the task of re-birthing things, and re-creating, and co-creating ourselves while we move through all the events of life. I am so very grateful for the trust we all had that the time was right and all was in alignment, however difficult and challenging,to play.
Pretty much that is it. I have spent this week recovering, stepping into week 1 post-op.I have written a lot to poetry. It felt easier than usual. Nothing to do but heal, and glimpse up at the lovely beautiful flowers and cards that were sent. Thank you. Perhaps that was it. I will confess also to watching the Lord of the Rings series, for the I don’t know anymore how many times. So potent and relevant. I shall begin to read the books, and re-read the Hobbit. You know I Love them? They feel like my kin, and my heart is in the Shire.
Any way, just wanted to remind you of the schedule in Heart Space. It will be a bit before things to return to a robust schedule. But they will again and I look forward to it!
So the schedule:

This is actually Peace Day. Sandy Farnan will be leading meditation in my absence.

I hope by next weeks email there is some clarity about Sunday Yoga and other offerings being discussed.
It is my hope that Sandy is well supported in my absence. It has meant so much to me that she agreed to hold that beautiful Monday space. Thank you Sandy.
The month is going by quickly and I truly forgot about Peace Day. But true it s that I never forget about peace, no matter how much there seems to be so little of it that we can see. And so it is that we start with ourselves, and give bits and pieces of it away to whomever we are with or standing next to, be it a person, an animal, an insect, leaf or tree. A drop of rain, a ray of sun,the moon at night, the wind and sea. Peace will always seem to much to think about so long as we think we are separate from every other thing, every other being. I know it looks like we are living limited lives in separation, but in truth we are living our eternity together.

I am so thankful for all those who have supported me and Nick while I am recovering. For bringing us food, and going to the store for us, for taking the time to visit, call and check in. For those who opened and held space for me and all those working on me during the surgery. For those at the hospital who came to be with Nick. Everyone’s prayers and love. Those who continued to send me healing through this time. I thank you one and all for your Love in all the ways it arrived into my heart.
Thank you daytime.
Thank you night.
Thank you Love,
for making all things right.
With LOVE,
Peace and Blessings,
Denise Yocco
