Dear Friends and Community,
We are moving through August pretty quickly. Wishing for all of us the light that there is to realize we hold, carry and give away every time our heart arises ahead of our thoughts. And there is Light…always. Darkness there is too…more so even. Light has been added, given, and available to find and use, and expand. We are okay of we know the power and gift of our light.
I am, we are, getting ready to go away for a little rest and relaxation. We have not done this in a bit so it feels difficult to get out the door. There is so much going on in our country, but I feel we have to make ourselves the focus, give ourselves the time and attention, to remember the expanse we have come from, the expanse that we are, so that we can offer that expanse to this time, as I feel that is our only hope in meeting this moment of darkness. The darkness we see is also a reflection of our own. We have co-created this time we are in together out of our forgetfulness of that expanse. It was bound to happen. But now we have to offer to it our light, our remembrance that love is life’s ceremony. Love is our expansion and it must meet this contraction head on. So here are some paraphrased words/thoughts that I was drawn into this week.

‘To exist in the flow of life we must add water to the most hardened parts of ourselves. We have hardened and crystalized our pain and suffering, the traumas we have endured, and we are often reexperiencing them, rather than dissolving them. We must cry. For them to dissolve, we must give them our loving attention. And we must cry to moisten them, to liquefy them, to release the energy in them, to flow under our own control. We all have been wounded, in some way. Without release there is no healing. Without healing we do not live in the flow of love. Without love, we continue to suffer and harden around what is not healed. Medieval alchemist believed that the salt in our tears was the actual remnant of crystalized wounds, thoughts, emotions, and feelings, being broken down by our crying.
