Dear Friends and Community,
This is my 2nd attempt to get this email out. I did not even try on Thursday as the day just got away from me. Friday, I literally fell asleep while trying. So here I am, knowing that in some way I will find my way to the finish. Right now,my days are just different then they were. Caring for Nick in his recovery is just as I imagined it would be. I am genuinely busy with many aspects and details that require my alert attention. We are in a new discovery of each other, even as we are of ourselves. It is not always a pleasant discovery, and I feel we are challenged in some way each day at the days end to meet in the place we know best,where we each find rest in each others love, friendship, and respect.
I will briefly finish up my thoughts down the page after the weeks schedule. I will continue with Monday Meditation (https://www.heartspacemedia.com/events/meditation-for-beginners-5-classes-25-2025-05-05/) . and this month I will offer the Drum Circle (https://www.heartspacemedia.com/events/heart-space-drum-circle-2-2025-05-16/) on May 16. I do hope by June to be back in my full schedule.

Being Where We Are…
I did have some things I wanted to share, but I am feeling that all that I have to offer, all that I can share, all that I have learned, and all that I love about where my learning journey has taken me, led me and taught me, is being able to be right where I am without feeling I am falling behind, or missing something, or feeling like my life is on hold.
There is a deep learning in every aspect of our life. And in this right now I feel a depth that puts to the test not just a practice, but a depth that binds all knowledge, spiritual or otherwise, to the law of love and compassion,that can never be sidestepped, overlooked, ignored…or forgotten, if what we want, is to be true to ourselves.
And I do not know all of what Nick will say about this time…all this time that we have have spent together, since December, when he first got sick. I do know he is thankful for me caring for him right now, as I am thankful to have the freedom to do so.
Today will be 1 month that he had his surgery. He is doing well, healing well, yet pain remains an issue which is what we were told to expect. We are thankful for the many kindnesses offered from many of you here. We are appreciative to those who offer their stories of similar challenges and their triumphs in healing. I know we are not alone.
