Heart Space at Seven Stones
New Years Eve Event
Offered by Denise Yocco
After having a New Years Eve event last year I wanted to continue to offer an end of year event for as long as we are in Heart Space. This year, again we will have an opportunity to look behind us to the year we have had, and move forward into 2019, with all we need to carry us in and to sustain us throughout.
So how have we emerged through this past year? While last year we were longing to find our common ground, our being one, this year I felt split down the middle and living in two worlds. I began to feel that we were losing our grip on our humanity, and that we were becoming quite adept at using our voice and truth to widen the chasm that already had separated us from masses of others. I felt challenged in being what I thought came easy…being human. I have been given a vision as to where we are stuck, and it is my hope and prayer that I can express it clearly.
This year we will be using the path of circle wisdom. We will be guided to see the physical circles that have brought us into being, the circles that have sustained us through decades of our life, and the circles we depend on for support from day to day. Also, we will be enter into the figurative circle of our life path, which is called The Four Directions, or Medicine Wheel.
My hope is to share with you, and make it easy for you to see how you can use this symbolism without it feeling complicated or foreign. I am wanting to share how you can know and use it, know its purpose, understand the directions, and ultimately for you see clearly how the path of life has us in coherence with this wisdom, and also how we are always, not only in this circle, but how we are operative in every direction, every day.
Also will share how in honoring this path with our vision we are supported by the earth energies and plant beings, and all creatures. And of course how we are guided by its center. Call that center God, or Source, or Universe, or Om. Every day we have a sacred opportunity to feel grounded in theses energies and to know that we can be the healers of our life.
We will start the evening with introductions and sharing. I will offer the visualization of circles and will have a large, on the ground, Medicine Wheel to share the most important details and the guidance that was given to me. We will have a guided meditation and an offering to the fire bowl, of what we feel we are being ask to offer to self and others in 2019. It is an honor to share this, to offer it humbly, and to allow for you to feel as if the key to an unlocked door has been also given to you.
There will be refreshments afterwards.
Each person attending will receive a small Medicine Wheel as a remembrance of this sacred path and sacred wisdom.
About Denise Yocco
I have been reluctant to offer anything about me as a bio. As you may know I am co-owner/creator with my husband Nick, of Seven Stones Gallery and prior owners and co-creators of Seven Stones Cafe and Heart Space at Seven Stones. They are businesses put in the name, is the story. Seven Stones is a path of self knowing that each of us are on, each stone, each step representative of moving deeper into our life and passion for living. It has been wonderful to share this name and journey with so many others.
I offer to this Heart Space community what I love and what loves me back. I am not educated by any university, or particular school of thought, only by what I have sought to learn and what life has offered to me in abundance to learn from. I feel deeply and passionately about self knowing and wholeness. I feel certain we can self heal through self knowing and forgiveness. I have taken The Peace Ambassador Training with James O’Dea, and am heart honored to be part of the 2nd graduating class. I have taken classes in Non-Violent Communication and in Conflict Resolution. I am human and many times have missed the mark that each of these studies has offered to me. But I stay on course and continue to evolve. I possess no special skills to heal another, only the heart that keeps offering to others a way through, as I have found, and what I know works to heal. It will always come down to the work we do to help ourselves, no matter who we learn from, no matter who lays their hands upon us, no matter our teachers or guru, religion, or degree, it will always be our decision to heal ourselves. Our greatest service to each other is to offer from the heart what we have learned through life, to be bridges, to be friends. I simply and passionately offer that. Deeply thankful and blessed to be of service.
