There is such beauty and grace in the variety of ways to meditate.
1. I will by begin using instruments to various music. I have a lot of various instruments which I have collected over the years. The idea of “Banging it Out” to release “Stress!” Also, an emphasis while doing this to do this “Mindfully!”
2. Stretching Exercises
3. A silent Meditation
4. A walking Meditation
5. A Body Scan, and/or a Loving Kindness Meditation
6. Ending with Meditation with Relaxation Music
About Sandra:
I have done 2 very Intensive Trainings at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center with Jon Kabat Zinn, and his staff, on Mindfulness Meditation and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Although this was a number of years ago, I have been doing Stress related and Mindfulness Meditation Groups for many years. I have been doing groups for Elwyn Institute for 19 years,and I have also done similar groups for North Western Human Services, where I used to work as a therapist.
