Movement and Mindfulness Workshop
Description of the workshop:
– During this workshop we will open with a short yoga class taught by Ruth Galli. Desirée Reese Mottard will then take the class on a journey of dance using world inspired music to shake out stress, release any worries and refresh the soul. There will be a half hour break for lunch. We then will resume and explore a deeper dance experience as a group and collaborate together as a class. We will close with a mindfulness mediation practice and end with restorative yoga. No dance experience necessary! Bring your curiosity, a sense of adventure and get ready to laugh. Also, you might like to bring water and your yoga mat. Also there is a fridge if you wish to bring your lunch.

About Desiree
Desirée Reese Mottard is the founder of Movement & Mindfulness a program designed to introduce mind-body practices to encourage deeper insights and awareness into your life. For 15 years she was a professional ballerina and after she retired she earned her degree at Lesley University in Holistic Psychology and certificate in MSBR mindfulness studies. She currently lives near Boston, MA and works to bring Movement & Mindfulness to the Boston area. She has brought her program to retirement centers, community centers, as well as individuals.
